Objectives of NUA-O Scholarship
The Odisha government is poised to offer scholarships to postgraduate and general degree students through the Nua-O programme. Youth empowerment is the primary objective of the Nutana Unnata Abhilasha (NUA) Odisha project.
Odisha Rs 1000 Ration Card Scheme
The girls will be eligible for 10,000, while the boys would receive Rs 9000 each. Approximately 95% of the students in Odisha would receive scholarships as it is the first state in the nation to implement such a programme.
Benefits of Odisha NUA-O Scholarship
The Government of Odisha has decided to provide Nua-O- scholarships for undergraduate and graduate students. Under the scheme, male students will get Rs 9,000 and Rs 10,000 as female students.
Odisha Swatantra Yuba Udyami Yojana
Male students from construction workers (builders) and SC/ST households will get Rs 10,000 per annum, while female students from the same caste will get Rs 11,000 per annum.
Eligibility Criteria for NUA-O Scholarship
The applicant should be a resident of the State of Odisha. The applicant must be an undergraduate or graduate student. Those allowances will not qualify for children whose parents are regular government employees or pay income taxes.
