Objectives of Ladki Bahin Yojana Registration

There are many women in the country who are facing financial hardship like single, divorced, abandoned etc. They need financial help to run their homes. They struggle a lot to pay their daily wages.

Features of Ladki Bahin Yojana Registration

Registration for Girl Sister Scheme is open until August 31, 2016. Of the eligible women targeted by the Chief Minister's Majhi Ladki Bahin Scheme, 10 lakh people are in the age group of 21 to 65 years.

It provides a grant of Rs 1,500 to women and girls whose households earn less than Rs 2.5 lakh per annum per month. The scheme was highlighted in the supplementary budget, which is expected to cost the state exchequer ₹46,000 crore annually

Eligibility Criteria for Majhi Ladki Bahin Yojana

The applicant must be a permanent resident of the state of Maharashtra to be eligible for online registration for the scheme. Women must be between 21 and 65 years of age. The scheme covers all married, single, divorced, abandoned and poor women. The family income of the applicant cannot exceed Rs 2.5 lakh. They must have a bank account with any bank in their name
