Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma has launched a scheme to launch small businesses in the state. Under this scheme, the government will provide financial assistance ofRs 2 lakhto help entrepreneurs run their businesses.

This will cover 1 lakhentrepreneurs in the country in three years. The project beneficiaries will receive partial reimbursement from the Government of Assam in the form of seed investment.
