AP govt to provide 50% subsidy under NRTS Insurance Scheme

AP NRTS Insurance Scheme:- Thanks to the leadership of the Chief Minister the Government of Andhra Pradesh is offering amazing opportunities to the migrant workers, employees and students of Andhra Pradesh residing abroad.

The Andhra Pradesh Non-Resident Telugu Samaj, a unit of the AP government, launched the Pravas Sandhra Bharosa Bima Bima program in Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy. AP NRTS Bima Yojana An initiative of the Government to bring together the Telugu diaspora across the globe and provide them with a platform that will be a one-stop shop where they can interact with their homeland in a mutually beneficial manner. Non-resident Telugus, with their unique needs and abilities, are a necessary and natural extension of the Telugu community.

Insurance Policy Migration Provident Trust Insurance (PBB) represents one such welfare scheme for NRTs and their family members. He explained that NRT students can enroll free of charge with one-year cover, while employees, migrants, laborers, drivers, domestic helpers, assistants and others working in various sectors can enroll Only Rs 275 with three-year coverage.

He further said that for the protection of NRTs and their families, the Andhra Pradesh government will pay 100 per cent of students fees (earlier Rs 180 for a year) and 50% of employees PBB premium (earlier Rs 550) . for three years).
