Objective Of TS Aasara Pension 2024(TS ఆసరా పెన్షన్ 2024 లక్ష్యం)

The main objective of the TS Aasara Pension is to provide financial support to old, disabled, HIV patients, and single women so that they can support their families without going to work. Through the implementation of this scheme, the financial conditions of the people will improve which will ultimately bring improvement in the living standard of these people.

Administration Of Pension(అడ్మినిస్ట్రేషన్ ఆఫ్ పెన్షన్)

Eligibility Criteria

For Old Age-

1. The age should be 65 years and above.
2. The applicant must belong to primitive and Vulnerable Tribal Groups
3. Only one pension in a family, preferably women is eligible.
4. Landless agriculture laborers, rural artisans/craftsmen slum dwellers, persons earning their livelihood on daily basis in the informal sector like porters, coolies, rickshaw pullers, hand cart pullers, fruit/flower sellers, snake charmers, rag pickers, cobblers, destitute and other similar categories irrespective of rural or urban areas are also eligible.
5. Homeless, houseless households residing in temporary informal establishments or huts especially in urban areas are eligible.
6. Households headed by widows or terminally ill persons/disabled persons /persons aged 65 years or more with no assured means of subsistence or societal support are also eligible.

For Widow-

• The age of the widow must be above 18 years.
• The applicant must belong to primitive and Vulnerable Tribal Groups

For Weavers-

• The age of the weaver must be above 50 years.
• The applicant must belong to primitive and Vulnerable Tribal Groups
• Only one pension in a family can avail of the pension.
• By profession, a person should be in weaving, irrespective of rural or urban areas

For Toddy Tappers-

• The age of the applicant must be above 50 years.
• The applicant must belong to primitive and Vulnerable Tribal Groups
• By profession, the person should be in Toddy Tapping, irrespective of rural or urban areas.
• For Toddy tapper pensions the verification should be confirmed whether the beneficiary is a registered member in the Co-Operative Society of Toddy Tappers.

For Disabled Person-

• A person of any age can apply for the scheme.
• The applicant must belong to primitive and Vulnerable Tribal Groups

Procedure To Search Pensioner Detail

• Open the official website of Aasara, Society for Elimination of Rural Poverty
• From the home page of the website you need to select the “quick search” option
• It will show “Search Pensioner Details” option further
• Click on it and a new page will appear where you need to enter the asked details such as
  1. Pensioner ID/ SADAREM ID

  3. Mandal
  4. Panchayat
  5. Name
  6. Head of The Family
• Click search option and information will appear on the screen

Sanction Of Pension Amount And Issue Of Pension Card

1. Assess the recommendation report and correlate it with the SKS survey data
2. Identify the poorest of the poor among the verified list covering all social categories
3. Special care will be taken so that no eligible beneficiary is left out
4. After that the data will be entered in the Aasara software
5. The data will also be submitted to the district collector
6. After getting the final approval by the district collector the pension cards will be distributed to the relevant beneficiaries by affixing the photo of the beneficiary
7. The gram panchayat is required to maintain register a and register b in which it will be specified the existing pensioners and those who are eligible but not have been considered for the pension.

Aadhaar Seeding Under TS Aasara Pension

1. Aadhar number is available for beneficiaries they will be immediately seeded for enabling biometric authentication best payment through the Aadhaar enabled payment system
2. Where the Aadhar number is not available then they shall secure one with the help of the local administration
3. For the payment either best fingerprint detection or error IRIS authentication will be used
4. Those cases where patients are bedridden or upper extremities are affected worse than the pension will be disbursed by a gram panchayat secretary or bill collector using his own biometrics

Release Of Amount For Disbursal Of Pension

1. The centralized acquittances along with the proceedings will generate in the software at the state level
2. It will be placed in the web in order to seek approval on the proceedings by the district collector through the project director
3. Approval will be taken from the district collector by the project director on the physical file and uploaded the file in the Aasara software
4. After that fund transfer report will be generated by SERP
5. The MPDOs / tahsildar will download the acquittances from the login provided to them and take a printout in order to hand it over to the disbursing agencies
6. After that, the pension will be disbursed at gram Panchayat or disbursing point level by the customer service provider
7. After that, the signed acquittances will return to MPDO/Tehsildars
8. If there is some change in pensioners’ status then it will be reported by the customer service provider, branch postmaster, gram panchayat, and secretary every month.

Disbursal Of Pension

1. The pensioner should have a bank account in which the amount of pension should be remitted
2. Windows municipality is where ATM facility is available then the amount of pension will be limited into bank account of the beneficiaries and they can withdraw it using their ATM cards
3. In rural areas where the bank exists then the pension will be deposited in the local bank for the post office and shall be disbursed through biometric authentication
4. Each pensioner should have registered in the biometric device
5. The disbursement of pension shall do in public place as far as possible
