Udyogini Scheme Objectives

The state of Karnataka’s main goal in implementing this program is to help women become self-sufficient by starting their own companies and microenterprises and prevent them from borrowing money at excessive interest rates from moneylenders for the same. Along with financial help, it also plans to provide skill development courses.

Eligibility Criteria for the Udyogini scheme

Candidates must be women The initial age limit for women was 45, but that has since been raised to 55, raising the minimum age from 18 to 55 years. Earlier, the income limit was Rs. 40,000 square feet ; Current income limit: Rs. 1.5 lakhs is available. Only women business owners are eligible for business loans.
