Steps to Apply for Rooftop Solar on https://pmsuryaghar.gov.in/ Under PM Surya Ghar Muft Bijli Yojana

1. First of all, go to the official website i.e., https://pmsuryaghar.gov.in/
2. The homepage of the website will open on the screen
3. Click on the Apply for rooftop solar option
4. A new page will open on the screen
5. Click on the Register Here button
6. The registration form will open on the screen
7. Now, select your State, District, and Electricity Distribution Company
8. After that, enter your Electricity Consumer Number, Mobile Number, email ID
9. Now, click on the register button to complete the registration
10. After successful, registration log in with your Consumer Number & Mobile Number
11. The application form will open on the screen
12. Now, fill in the form with all the required details
13. Wait for DISCOM’s approval of the feasibility now.
14. Installing the plant by any of the approved vendors in your DISCOM is possible once you have received feasibility approval. 
15. After installation is complete, apply for a net metre and submit the plant data.
16. Through the portal, they will generate the commissioning certificate following the net metre installation and DISCOM inspection.
17. After receiving the commissioning report. Send the bank account information and a cancelled cheque using the online portal. Your subsidy will appear in your bank account in less than 30 days.
