Objective Of Karnataka CM Self Employment Scheme
The main objective of the Karnataka CM Self Employment Scheme is to provide interest subsidies on loans up to a maximum ceiling of Rs 2.50 lakh for the general category and Rs 3.50 lakh for the special category. Benefits And Features Of Karnataka CM Self Employment Scheme
The Government of Karnataka has launched the CM Self Employment Scheme in Karnataka. Under this scheme, the government is going to provide interest subsidized loans up to a maximum project cost of Rs 1 crore. The maximum subsidy for all category beneficiaries is 25% subject to a maximum limit of Rs 2.50 lakh.
The maximum assistance to special category beneficiaries is based on 35% maximum of Rs.3.50 lakh. The interest on this scheme can only be availed when the loan is taken for construction and service purposes.
For the general category, the promoter’s contribution should be 10% of the project cost, while the special category should be 5% of the project cost. Unemployed youth in rural areas can benefit from this scheme. The benefits of this scheme are only available for new units.
