Benefits of the Karnataka Raitha Shakti Scheme
Each of the beneficiary farmers will get diesel subsidy of Rs 250 (per acre of land). Maximum subsidy will be given for land up to 5 acres. Recipients will deposit the grant directly into their bank accounts in due course. Agricultural machinery centers are also being developed across the country to provide access to agricultural implements to small and marginal farmers

The government is going to set up a cold storage facility at Toravi village in Vijayapura district. Here grapes are grown on most of the land in the country. The Karnataka Grape and Wine Board has allocated Rs 35 crore for setting up a cold storage facility.
