The main objective of the scheme is to provide benefits to all of the State Government employees of the Assam region. The insurance company will be paying all of the expenses related to the health hazards of the State Government employees.
The State Government employees will be getting insurance which will be limited to 300000 rupees per annum. However, new diseases such as coronavirus will also be included in this scheme to make it look more practical and trustworthy for all of the state employees. The State Government employees will be getting a lot of different opportunities through this Scheme.
Benefits(Assam Employee Health Assurance Scheme 2024)
Under this plan, the government will pay the insurance premiums for the Employee Health Command Scheme for employees and pensioners.
About 4.3 lakh state government employees will benefit from the scheme. Government employees receiving pensions are allowed to participate in the scheme in the future. This scheme will also provide the beneficiaries with cashless treatment through the insurance company.
Assam Mukhya Mantri Nijut Moina Scheme
The Government of Assam will also provide the beneficiaries with battered hospitals. Insurance policies and benefits will be finalized by a committee to be set up by the Department of Health and Family Welfare. Benefits for destructive procedures such as transplant surgery will also be included in this plan.
The scheme will also cover pre-existing diseases for all beneficiaries. The plan will also cover coronavirus. Outpatient treatment under this program will not be reimbursed
Assam Employee Health Assurance Scheme Registration Procedure
The scheme will be implemented from 1st February and all of the state employees will be automatically enrolled under this scheme by the Assam Government. There is no need to do separate registration for the scheme because the employees will be automatically covered under this scheme.
