Who is eligible to fill application form for Mazi Ladki Bahin Scheme?
The applicant should be from the state of Maharashtra. Women born outside Maharashtra and married to men resident in the state can avail the scheme by submitting their husband’s birth certificate or school leaving certificate, which will be accepted as proof of the applicant’s personal residence sheet.
Only aspiring women are eligible for this program. Annual income should be less than 2.5 lakhs. Women facing financial hardship can apply for the scheme. Previously, eligibility limits were set between 21 and 60 years of age.
Eligibility conditions have been adjusted for ages 21-65. Women without income certificate but holding an orange or yellow ration card can use it. The scheme is open to married and single women in the same family.
