PMAYG 2023:- Government of India has launched a scheme called Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana Gramin to provide affordable houses to rural people. First introduced as “Indira Awas Yojana” in 1985, the PMAYG scheme was drastically revised and reintroduced by the present government in 2016.
