The Kerala Water Authority has handed over about 4 acres of land to the company and now that land is being used for tapioca production under the Subhiksha Keralam project initiated by the concerned authorities of the state transport minister. Kerala Corporation which has started this project of Suhiksha Kerala is the first company to do something like this individually.
A mission is also being launched to ensure adequate food security in Kerala. The project was launched on April 28 to help all people have access to adequate food in the midst of the coronavirus pandemic. This initiative will be very helpful for those people who genuinely want to do something positive for their environment and conditions and help Mother Earth recover from pollution.

Secretary of the company Binu Francis also referring to the initial program of the scheme said that the previous program of the company was to help all people have adequate nutrition and now the next program is an expanded one just before the commencement of the Samrudhi scheme.
Under this new plan of the company to develop tapioca plantations, more land and more labor will be acquired. Officials concerned also say that the plant will be planted over 15 acres.The company's initial objective was to develop the plant in just about 5 acres of land. This will be a very big event for all those who want to help keep the earth green and healthy.
Benefits Of Subhiksha Keralam
The vegetable growing area will be spread over an area of about 22 hectares, while about 80% of households will be encouraged to grow the crop. The concerned authorities also state that 5.6 % of the land within the city limits is ready for cultivation under the present conditions. Officials involved also say that the identified communities will also look for potential land that will help them develop and cultivate a wide variety of crops.
In addition, there are about 20 agricultural cooperatives in the city. All partner companies have decided to expand their production. Officials said this much cooperation would be more than enough for their plan to succeed. All developed countries will have incentives to increase agriculture.
