Deen Dayal Swasthya Seva Yojana:- Beginning on September 1st, 2016, the Deen Dayal Swasthya Seva Yojana has been implemented in the State. The Scheme offers health insurance to all State residents who have lived in Goa for five years or more.
Benefits under this program are paid to recipients on a cashless basis according to the amount of their yearly coverage, which provides coverage of up to Rs. 2.50 lakhs for families with three or fewer members and up to Rs. 4 lakhs for families with four or more members.

The State of Goa created the current program to help individuals receive high-quality medical care and treatment for illnesses, hospitalization, and surgery through public and private hospitals and to advance medical services.
Features of Deen Dayal Swasthya Seva Yojana
- The beneficiaries of this scheme will receive benefits on a cashless basis up to the yearly coverage cap, which is as follows:
- Members of the family may use the insurance benefit either individually or collectively.
- For families with three or less people, the insurance coverage may be up to Rs. 2.50 lakhs annually, and for families with four or more members, it may be up to Rs. 4 lakhs annually. The claim would never be more than Rs. 4.00 lakhs every year.
- An individual is free to choose a greater level of coverage from the insurance company by paying a higher premium, with no consequences for public facilities and policy
Eligibility Criteria for Deen Dayal Swasthya Seva Yojana
The Scheme offers health insurance to every State citizen who has lived in Goa for five years or more.
Document Required
- Every family member older than five years old must have an Aadhar card or enrollment acknowledgment paper (Compulsory).
- Person’s residence evidence of eligibility: Passport, residence permit, election card, or driving licence issued in Goa at least five years ago.
- A ration card that specifies the family. If a ration card is unavailable, all of the documentation listed below must be enclosed.
- Marriage Certificate for Spouse.
- A declaration that the dependent parent or parents are not employed.
- For dependent children: birth certificate, school transcript, or children of the qualified person.
- For OBC non-creamy layer members, a caste certificate from the deputy collector must be presented with an income certificate proving an annual income of less than Rs. 6.00 lakhs.
- For eligible people with disabilities
- The Director of Tribal Welfare or Deputy Collector must issue a cast certificate for SC/ST applicants.

- Open the official website of the Yojana.
- The homepage will be displayed on the screen.
- Now from the homepage, click on the Registration option.
- A new registration form will open on the screen.
- Enter the email id and mobile number in the given box.
- Now click on the generate OTP option.
- An OTP will be received on your provided mobile number.
- Enter the OTP and move forward.
- After that, a registration form will open on the screen.
- Enter your personal details carefully and upload the required documents.
- Now click on the register option.
