The Karmasati Parijayi Shramik Yojana of the West Bengal government will provide financial assistance and emergency assistance to migrant workers working in other states. The Mamata government will provide services for complaints, grievances, accident, disability and death benefits. Under this system, migrant workers could also acquire skills.
Employees can provide emergency assistance through the KSP employee smartphone application. The state government would pay Rs 50,000 in case of natural death and Rs 2 lakh in case of accidental death.
All migrant workers must download the Parijayi Worker mobile application to avail the benefits of the scheme. They will also assist with grievances, death and permanent disability complaints through the Karmasati mobile application.
