Chief Minister’s Barista Weaver Karigar Assistance Scheme is a new scheme launched by Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Wednesday for the safety and welfare of senior weavers and artisans in Odisha. The Ministry of Handlooms, Textiles and Handicrafts will be responsible for the implementation of the scheme.

The name of the applicant should be entered in the inspection list prepared by Directors of Textiles and Handicrafts as Assistant Weavers belonging to Weavers and Handicrafts Candidates may not benefit from any comparable program administered by the federal or state governments.
Odisha Swatantra Yuba Udyami Yojana
Annual income of applicant’s family cannot exceed INR 1 lakh. Only one person can benefit from a family under this scheme. The applicant must not be a middle-class employee, state or local government retiree, or taxpayer
